Veterinary practice software for clinics in the UAE

VetLum is practice management software for veterinary clinics in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates. It keeps the calendar, clinical records, VAT invoices, stock and client reminders in one place, in your web browser.

What VetLum is

VetLum is veterinary practice management software built for clinics in the United Arab Emirates. Your team signs in at app.vetlum.com from a computer or tablet. There is nothing to install and no server to look after in the clinic, but you do need an internet connection.

The staff screens are in English. What your clients receive can be in Arabic: reminders, emails, consent forms, certificates and the pre-visit questionnaire, for clients who prefer Arabic.

Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates

VetLum works the same way in every emirate. A single-vet practice in Sharjah, a busy clinic in Dubai with several vets, and a mobile vet driving between clients around Abu Dhabi all use the same calendar, records and invoices. Because it runs in the browser, a mobile vet can book, write the record and invoice on the visit from a laptop or tablet.

Licensing and record-keeping rules are set by the authority in your emirate. VetLum helps you keep complete, signed records that you can export at any time; your clinic stays responsible for meeting those rules.

What a day in VetLum looks like

Reception sees every vet's day side by side, finds the next free time and approves requests from your online booking page. New clients can register themselves on a clinic tablet, and consent forms and pre-visit questionnaires go out before the visit.

In the exam room, the vet writes a SOAP record with vitals, diagnoses, prescriptions, vaccinations and lab results, using templates or notes copied from the last visit. Signed records are locked and corrections are added as amendments. AI can draft notes from dictation, but a vet reviews every draft and a person always signs.

The flowboard shows where each patient is, including hospitalised patients with treatment sheets. Stock is tracked by batch and expiry, with a controlled substances register. At checkout, the visit's charges are already on the invoice. You can follow the whole clinic day from booking to closing on the home page.
